Position: Registered Nurse (Cardiology Unit and Cardia Cath Labs)Location: ClydebankContract Type: Contract (Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00)Contract Dates: 5th January 2026 - 30th January 2026Salary Band: Band 6 (Gross Approx - £4000-£4700)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Cardiac Nurse to provide expert care in our Cardiac Day Unit and Cath Lab. This role involves delivering specialized, evidence-based care to critically ill patients, coordinating patient flow, and working autonomously within agreed protocols. The successful candidate will possess advanced clinical skills in cardiac management, emergency care, and invasive procedures, with the ability to make rapid clinical decisions in unpredictable situations.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalized care, involving patients and their families in the care process.Patient Flow: Coordinate admissions and discharges, ensuring a safe and effective care pathway in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.Clinical Skills: Perform advanced clinical procedures such as ECG interpretation, anticoagulation therapy, manual defibrillation, and cardiac monitoring.
