Position: Intervention Cardiac Physiologist (Band 6) Location: Clydebank Contract Type: Contract (Monday- Friday, 08:00-16:00) Contract Dates: 5th January 2026 – 30th January 2026 Salary Band: Band 6 ( Gross Approx - £4000-£4700) Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Intervention Cardiac Physiologist to join a team near Clydebank. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality diagnostic cardiac services, supporting the assessment and diagnosis of cardiac disorders in both cardiac and non-cardiac patients. Key Responsibilities Perform complex and specialist cardiac investigations. Monitor patient haemodynamic and respond to acute changes. Operate and interpret data from specialised equipment including: Temporary Pacing Line (TPL) Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) IVUS & OCT imaging systems Pressure wire systems (FFR & CFR) High-speed rotational atherectomy (HSRA) Valvuloplasty and device implantations (ASD, TEER, VSD) Record and analyse right heart pressures and cardiac output. Produce efficient and detailed procedural reports. Assist with Genesis stock control and student training. Line management by the Interventional Team Lead, supported by the Service Manage Why Choose us?
