Veeam Marketplace Pre-Sales Consultant

Job Overview The Veeam Pre‑Sales Consultant will be responsible for driving the pre‑sales process by providing expert technical guidance, solution design, and strategic consulting to prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have in‑depth knowledge of Veeam solutions, excellent communication skills, and a proven track‑record in pre‑sales activities. This role requires collaboration with sales teams, customers, and technical teams to ensure the successful positioning of Veeam. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with the sales team and clients to assess requirements, objectives, and constraints. Scope and size licensing opportunities, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational capabilities. Recommend appropriate Veeam solutions tailored to each client’s needs and objectives. Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and guidance to address client challenges and achieve desired outcomes. Provide guidance and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to solution design and proposal development. Proactively identify opportunities for cross‑selling or upselling additional products or services. Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies and initiatives aimed at maximizing revenue and enhancing client satisfaction. Define prices, optimize pricing and incentives while remaining competitive, and manage deal registration dynamics to optimize margins. Take ownership of crafting accurate and competitive quotes for complex client requests. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure feasibility and competitiveness of proposed solutions. Develop and maintain a comprehensive repository of solution collaterals, including presentations, case studies, white papers, and other materials focused on CSP. Collaborate with Veeam and Alliance Leaders to regularly update collaterals, reflecting the latest product features and success stories. Required Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business challenges and recommend effective technological solutions. Proven track record of translating client requirements into actionable strategies that drive business outcomes. Understanding of Veeam solutions and the ability to position them to address client needs and industry trends. Strong commercial awareness and proficiency in sales techniques, including overcoming objections and closing deals. Experience collaborating with sales teams to develop tailored strategies and proposals. Exceptional verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively. Comprehensive understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in navigating sales cycles from lead generation to deal closure. Thorough knowledge of relevant industries and markets, with ability to anticipate market shifts and identify growth opportunities. Proactive in staying updated on industry developments and emerging technologies.
