Support portfolio and innovation planning by forecasting new wines and product launches. Monitor market trends, portfolio performance, product‑lifecycle stages and customer behaviour to identify opportunities. Track and report forecasting KPIs: accuracy, bias, baseline stability, promo uplift accuracy and demand variability. Carry out root‑cause analysis when forecasts differ from actual results. Improve forecasting tools, automation workflows, dashboards and data pipelines. What you’ll bring Experience in demand planning, forecasting or S&OP within a product‑led or fast‑moving environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets. Knowledge of statistical methods such as time‑series forecasting, regression analysis, clustering or machine learning. Advanced Python skills (pandas, NumPy, statsmodels, scikit‑learn, Prophet) for forecasting model development. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and modelling. High capability in Google Sheets for analytical modelling and scenario analysis. Experience using data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker). Ability to automate forecasting workflows and improve data quality. Experience with ERP/MRP or planning systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is beneficial. Experience working with cross‑functional teams to support alignment across commercial and operational functions. Confidence discussing forecast assumptions, risks and demand drivers with both technical and non‑technical audiences. Commercial & Operational Understanding Understanding of commercial planning, promotional strategies, product lifecycles and sales processes. Benefits A competitive salary of £40‑50k per annum (depending on location) plus annual bonus opportunity. Personal healthcare and a £300 annual personal development budget. 26 days holiday plus bank holidays (you can buy or sell holiday). £450 per year for our wine club subscription.
