Construction Logistics Manager - Bridgwater, Somerset - £325 - £350 per day Overview MadiganGiill require an experienced Construction Logistics Manager to oversee all logistics operations for a major construction project. You will play a critical role in managing the supply chain, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage site logistics, including material deliveries, storage, and waste management. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure timely and efficient operations. Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Optimise site access, traffic management, and storage to minimise disruptions. Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress reports to project leadership. Resolve logistical challenges proactively to keep the project on schedule and within budget. Requirements Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on large-scale construction projects (£20m+) Strong knowledge of construction site operations and supply chain management. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. CSCS card and relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, IOSH, or equivalent). Strong communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders. Experience with new build schemes.
