General Manager - Student Accommodation Homes for Students – the UK’s largest independent provider of student accommodation. Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for creating a home away from home for students? Do you have a knack for team motivation, a solid grasp of health and safety regulations, and a talent for managing budgets? If so, we have an exciting opportunity just for you. Your weekly hours will be 40 per week, working 9am‑5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Base pay range Pay is based on skills and experience. About the Role As the General Manager you will be the driving force behind an exceptional student living experience. You will work closely with your team to ensure top‑notch customer service in sales, maintenance and housekeeping, embed our core values and enable your team to excel. In September you will take the reins of the check‑in, check‑out and room turnaround process. Your communication skills will shine when supporting new students and handling any customer or operational issues. You will have support from the larger Homes for Students family and the area and regional teams. The role demands a diverse skill set and a commitment to your growth within the company. What We’re Looking For Leadership experience in a similar role. Strong data presentation and analysis skills. Impeccable organisational abilities. Team player with the power to lead, inspire and motivate. Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of health and safety regulations (desirable but not essential).
