Strategic Insights Analyst – ClarusOne London ClarusONE Sourcing Services, LLP provides strategic generic pharmaceutical services for both Walmart Stores, Inc. and McKesson Corporation. Role Summary The Strategic Insights Analyst plays a key role in developing and integrating data analytics and strategic insights that support ClarusONE’s long‑term vision, strategies, objectives and goals. The analyst drives the core data analytics capabilities that underpin business decision making and the integration of analytics into ClarusONE’s technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Work proactively and cross‑functionally across the business to develop initiatives that deliver value to ClarusONE members using advanced analytics and insight. Leverage analytical capabilities and problem‑solving skills to make data‑driven recommendations. Partner with ClarusONE commercial teams to promote development and ongoing ownership of advanced analytics solutions that drive strategic decision making. Demonstrate ability to independently and quickly identify solutions to complex problems through data‑driven insights. Communicate learnings to a wide range of audiences, including leadership, influencing strategic initiatives and business decisions. Support creation and ongoing management of data and analytics solutions that reduce supply risk linked to regulation, manufacturing constraints, market dynamics and supplier financial stability. Collaborate with product delivery and programme management to scope, develop and embed advanced analytics and strategic insight capability within the technology platform. Support development and ongoing ownership of supplier and product segmentation tools to support strategic decision making. Develop ‘next best action’ analytics solutions to empower proactive sourcing effort. Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or PhD preferable) in Mathematics or a heavily quantitative field. Strong commercial mindset with ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations. Track record of making proactive, strategic recommendations based on data analysis. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in applied analytics for business problem solving with proven research, analysis and problem‑solving skills. 5+ years’ experience in a senior analyst/insight manager type role, preferably in a large retail or sourcing organization. Advanced data analysis skills (SQL and Python required) and visualization skills (e.g., Tableau, ThoughtSpot). Organizational and project management skills using a consultative approach. Preferred Requirements Experience in the healthcare field, preferably in generic pharmaceuticals (sales, purchasing or distribution). Experience with cloud‑based data solutions such as Snowflake, Python or another core data science language. Specific experience in applied analytics such as pricing, segmentation, A/B testing, risk modelling. Knowledge of retail pharmaceutical products and program offerings.
