Reporting directly to senior management, you will play a vital role in leading financial control, management reporting, and compliance across Reebok Europe’s UK and German entities. About the Role As Financial Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial accounting, management accounting, stock control, and payroll. You will be the first point of contact for auditors, lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide strategic financial support to the CFO and board. This is a hands‑on role that requires both technical expertise and the ability to partner with stakeholders across the business. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting records for the UK and German entities. Supervise processing of entries, reconciliations, and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts. Act as first point of contact for auditors, providing information and addressing queries. Management Accounting Support the CFO with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and board papers. Perform variance analysis on sales, margins, and operating expenses; recommend corrective actions. Prepare monthly and quarterly royalty reports for brand owners. Supervise preparation of invoice finance and trade finance reconciliations for the bank. Review periodic stock reports, costings, and ageing. Oversee the credit control function, ensuring timely collection of debts and adherence to credit terms. Payroll Manage preparation of monthly payroll. Ensure all payroll compliance requirements are met in collaboration with HR. Reconcile payroll records with the general ledger on a monthly basis. Requirements Fully qualified ACCA / CIMA / CA. Minimum 5 years’ UK experience in financial management. Experience in a firm of chartered accountants desirable. Strong technical accounting and reporting expertise. Experience supervising teams across AP, AR, payroll, and credit control. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Commercially minded, proactive, and detail‑focused. What Reebok Europe Offers Competitive salary package (commensurate with experience). Annual bonus potential (at Directors’ discretion) and/or annual pay review. 25 days holiday + bank holidays. Extra days off between Christmas and New Year (if business closes). Standard hours: 9am – 5:30pm (40 hours/week, 30‑min lunch). 1 day WFH after probation/training (non-contractual). 60% discount on Ecommerce products. Sample sales twice a year.
