At NP Aerospace, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Apprentice to develop essential business administration and commercial skills in a fast‑paced, global defence organisation. You’ll gain first‑hand experience supporting contracts, procurement, and customer relationships — learning how large‑scale defence programmes are managed from proposal through to delivery. This is the ideal role for someone with a keen interest in business operations, administration, and commercial management who’s ready to learn and grow within a supportive environment. Successful apprentices will have the opportunity to progress into permanent positions within NP Aerospace once the apprenticeship is complete. Responsibilities Provide administrative support for contracts, tenders, and supplier documentation. Assist with the preparation of pricing, quotations, and financial tracking spreadsheets. Help maintain accurate project records, reports, and correspondence. Support supplier engagement and procurement activities, including order processing. Conduct market research and help prepare presentations and commercial summaries. Liaise with internal teams across Finance, Operations, Procurement, and Sales. Learn how to support compliance, export controls, and documentation for defence projects. What you’ll bring GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English and ICT at grade 4/C or above. Further study (A‑Level, BTEC, or equivalent) in a business‑related subject (preferred). Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong administrative and IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office. A proactive, organised, and detail‑focused approach to work.
