Senior clinical fellow in Neurology – Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust This vacancy is to cover a position within the resident neurology team due to other members working less than full time. The post is ideal for a motivated, enthusiastic candidate wanting to gain experience in Neurology at a regional neuroscience centre. The Neurology Department provides comprehensive adult neurological care for both emergency and elective work. It includes an inpatient Neurology ward (Charing Cross), Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), a planned Neurological Treatment Unit (NTU), an Acute Neurology service, a range of sub‑speciality outpatient clinics and multiple Multidisciplinary team meetings. It is a large department with over 40 Consultant Neurologists linked to Imperial, many with clinical duties at district general hospitals and research commitments within Imperial College. The department is complemented by the Hyperacute Stroke Unit, Neurosurgery Unit, Neuroradiology Department (with access to CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and interventional neuroradiology) and Neurophysiology Department. Postholder will be expected to participate in the on‑call rota. Required Full‑time for twelve months; may be required to work at different sites. Contribute to the care of neurology inpatients, and the acute neurology liaison service. Participate in the on‑call rota, including neurology and resident stroke thrombolysis/thrombectomy duties. Attend/deliver sub‑specialty outpatient clinics. Attend subspecialty multidisciplinary team meetings and neuroradiology meetings. Assist with triaging of referrals into sub‑specialty clinics. Attend the weekly clinical and academic meetings. Participate in audit, quality improvement projects and clinical research where applicable.
