They deliver high quality work and benefit from repeat business from Tier 1 contractors. We are seeking a Buyer / Purchasing Administrator to strengthen their procurement and commercial function. You'll have experience within a purchasing team in the construction industry and be looking for an exceptional opportunity to develop and progress into a Senior Buyer/Buyer.ResponsibilitiesSupport the procurement of materials and subcontractor services for projectsRaise purchase orders, issue enquiries, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor delivery schedulesPurchasing administration: processing requisitions, purchase orders, goods-in records, supplier data, updating systemsMaintain supplier relationships - evaluate performance, check compliance, resolve issuesWork closely with site and commercial teams to align procurement to project requirementsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and drive procurement efficienciesQualificationsExperience in purchasing/purchasing administration within the construction sectorGood negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skillsStrong organisational skills, able to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Knowledge of construction materials would be idealWhat’s on OfferCompetitive salary and benefitsOpportunity for development into a Senior BuyerA supportive team culture in a stable and growing organisationExposure to high-profile and varied projectsHow to ApplyIf you have the experience required, can travel daily to an office based role in the West Midlands, visit sites about once a fortnight and have right to work in the UK, please apply and upload your CV. #J-18808-Ljbffr
