About the role We are an educational charity that provides free, comprehensive information about plastics pollution and bridges the gap of misinformation to inspire action, conversation and collaboration. As a volunteer, you will make a radical difference to the amount of traffic driven to our new project website and transform how we present ourselves to service users, stakeholders, funders and the general public, making the project that much more sustainable. Responsibilities Perform a social media audit, assess the current state of our social media pages and make recommendations on how we might improve our presence and engagement and where we might focus our efforts. Help us engage our service users by creating a compelling social media strategy. Include content so that we can effectively promote our current project. Produce examples of fresh and engaging content for our social media channels. Produce regular content across a wide range of social media in support of our blogs and newsletters. Qualifications Proactive in carrying out the tasks required. Basic understanding of climate issues. At least 6 months experience of writing and editing marketing content across all platforms. At least 6 months experience of building strategies to increase social media following. At least 6 months experience of creating content calendars to help plan social media activity. Ability to quickly understand the needs of our organisation. Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements. Understands the resource constraints of a small charity and can work within these. #J-18808-Ljbffr
