Veterinary Receptionist

If so, we are looking for a receptionist to join our existing team and help deliver excellent customer care to our clients and their pets. Responsibilities & Duties Greet and acknowledge all clients as soon as they arrive in a friendly and courteous manner. Deal with clients' requests in a professional and timely manner, following practice protocols as necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records on the computer. Record all payments and transactions on the computer. Action emails, request clinical histories and liaise with other external services. Book appointments. Understand the importance of teamwork and be able to communicate effectively with all team members. Understand client needs and consistently provide a high level of service. Deal with telephone enquiries by answering promptly, using good telephone technique, and achieving a resolution. Ensure that the reception area and desk are clean, tidy and odour‑free. Handle and process veterinary insurance claims. About the Rota This is a permanent position. We are happy to consider part‑time or full‑time applicants up to 40 hours per week. The rota is as follows: Monday to Friday: 07:45‑19:00. Saturday: 08:30‑12:30 on a rota basis.
