We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and creative Performing Arts Technician to join a thriving Performing Arts department and support students across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for the performing arts who enjoys working in a dynamic, hands‑on environment. About the Role As a Performing Arts Technician, you will: Provide technical support for lighting, sound, AV, stage management and production set‑up. Assist teaching staff in the preparation and delivery of high‑quality lessons. Support rehearsals, performances and extra‑curricular activities across the department. Maintain equipment, organise resources and ensure safe working practices at all times. Help create a professional, inspiring and inclusive environment where students can thrive creatively. Collaborate closely with teachers, students and wider school staff to bring creative projects to life. What We’re Looking For A strong interest in performing arts, with technical experience in lighting, sound or stage management. Organised, reliable and proactive, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a busy, creative environment. Confident collaborating with young people and staff. Previous experience in education, technical theatre or production support is desirable but not essential.
