Key Responsibilities Lead the home with visible, values‑led leadership, setting high expectations for performance, professionalism, and compassion. Oversee daily operational command of all departments—Care & Clinical, Culinary & Hospitality, Estates & Maintenance, Housekeeping & Laundry, Administration & Reception—ensuring systems and people work in harmony. Maintain full compliance with all CQC Fundamental Standards and statutory frameworks; chair governance reviews and manage a Governance Workbook. Drive financial leadership: manage income, expenditure, payroll sign‑off, invoicing, procurement authorisation, and achieve occupancy 95%+. Champion people, culture and development: lead recruitment, onboarding, supervision, appraisals, and embed a coaching culture. Strong people leadership, communication and coaching skills, with a resilient, analytical, continuous‑improvement mindset. Competent in core systems (Nourish, Sona, Found, QCS, BrightSafe, YourHippo, Rehab My Patient). Commitment to personal growth and lifelong learning. Desirable Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Record of achieving or sustaining Good or Outstanding CQC ratings.
