Job Description We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic person to become part of our Food & Beverage Team at the Stormont Hotel. Hours will vary to cover breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening functions and this full-time position offers a salary of £22,568 per annum, paid weekly. About the Role Responsible for serving food & beverages to guests, ensuring the highest standard of service and contributing to the hotel's profit. You will work under the inspiring leadership of our General Manager and collaborate with a friendly team. Responsibilities Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the service areas according to Hastings Standards. Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring the highest standard of service and that all guest needs and expectations are met. Typical tasks include, clearing and setting tables, taking orders, serving food and beverages and taking payments. Ensure all cash, charges, floats and till procedures are carried out correctly. Greet guests and respond to their queries. Use all equipment and materials correctly, reporting any problems immediately. Maintain the security of stock areas and report any breaches immediately. Be knowledgeable about hotel offerings and proactively sell these to guests. Deal with guest concerns politely and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty. Work effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity. Comply with all health, safety and hygiene policies and procedures. Perform any other duties as required by management. Required Criteria Right to work in the United Kingdom. Excellent communication and basic numeracy skills. Professional appearance. Ability to deliver an exceptional standard of customer service.
