Homeless Prevention Lead Officer – Dacorum Borough Council Fixed‑term position until end of March 2028. Responsibilities Provide advice and assistance to people facing homelessness. Lead the Homeless Prevention Team in delivering services with a focus on preventing homelessness. Ensure services are delivered in line with the Council’s Homelessness & Rough Sleeping Strategy and associated policies. Discharge the Council’s legal obligations to people threatened with or experiencing homelessness and those in housing need. Establish and maintain effective relationships with external stakeholders and collaborate with other services and senior management to ensure services are joined up and aligned to the Council’s aims and objectives. Requirements A valid UK driving licence. A standard DBS check, with no relevant convictions. Mid‑senior level experience appropriate for the role.
