Nursery Practitioner Needed – GatesheadRoom: 2–3s RoomStart Date: ASAP / January (flexible) Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Gateshead, working specifically within the 2–3s room. Location: GatesheadPosition: Nursery Practitioner – 2–3 RoomPay: Competitive hourly/daily rates (based on experience and qualifications) Support the care, learning, and development of children aged 2–3 Help plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS Provide a warm, nurturing, and consistent presence for young children Maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Work collaboratively with the room team, building strong relationships with children and families Ensure high standards of safeguarding, hygiene, and child wellbeing A recognised childcare qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare) Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting Good knowledge of the EYFS framework A patient, caring, and motivated approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) If you’re passionate about supporting children’s early development and ready to join a friendly Gateshead nursery, we’d love to hear from you.
