Our Patient Solutions Team are proud to provide the wheelchair service on behalf of the NHS in Derbyshire. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Wheelchair Therapist to join our team. The role As Wheelchair Therapist, you will deliver wheelchair services to the highest clinical and ethical standards. You will provide training and supervision to students, less experienced colleagues and service users. Key duties. Leading the wheelchair team in agreed area of speciality Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) at all levels to ensure the most appropriate and effective treatment for service users Assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, supplying, reviewing and adjusting wheelchairs and accessories as required.
