Real-time C2 and integrated intelligence and leading-edge networked radio solutions are helping to reimagine the future of command and control in the connected digital battlespace.The Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer helps with the overall responsibility of the day-to-day provision, management, and support of the local IT infrastructure, ensuring all staff has adequate IT provision to meet their needs, maintaining excellent service levels through effective prioritisation and organisation. This will include running daily routine procedures, resolving functional and/or technical issues and assist in the development of current processes to improve standards and reduce costs. As a member of the IT Team, the Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer will report to and work closely with the IT Service Delivery Manager in aligning site priorities for implementation of the global IT strategy, advising on local security, compliance, or regulatory requirements along with any local challenges as identified.**Key Responsibilities:*** Managing daily IT support requests and issues, ensuring excellent customer service across the support team.* Monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading core infrastructure including servers, networks, systems as identified and in-line with compliance and certification requirements. NIST, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus etc.* Diagnosing and resolving technical faults and problems.* Delivering projects to improve IT services and systems.* Ensuring robust IT security, data protection and compliance.* Ensure Backup, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans are up to date, along with an annual “live” testing of the processes.* Keeping abreast of technological advancements, advising on what new technological solutions are required and succession planning of technology implementations in place.* Creating and submitting a proposal for the IT improvement and project requirements, annual budget for financial review, providing budget information from geographical locations for local IT spend requirements.**Qualifications & Skills Required:*** Proven experience managing and developing IT support services.* Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management methodologies.* Office 365, Azure, Windows Server.* Virtualisation (VMware – Hyper-V)* SAN technologies* Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016-2022* M365 / Microsoft Exchange, Intune, Autopilot, SCCM.* Networking - TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, routing, firewalls.* Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, Business, etc. or equivalent experience.* Strong ability to manage conflict resolution within direct team, cross-functionally and with external vendors.* Experience working in a global environment.* Exceptional knowledge of service and application delivery* Ability to obtain and maintain DV level security clearance#IC#LI-DC1#LI-Hybrid# **Notice**Due to the nature of the programs we deliver for our customers, candidates may need to obtain the relevant security clearance or handle export-controlled material as defined by the role's requirements.**Our Benefits**Every employee is critical to our success, and as such, we offer a range of flexible employee benefits, including:* Participation in an Annual Bonus Scheme* Private Medical Cover* 25 days’ holiday (plus Bank Holidays) with the option to buy an extra 5 days* Pension Contribution* 4 x Life Assurance Cover* Flexible working hours with opportunity for a 1pm finish on a Friday* Flexible benefits including cycle to work scheme, will writing and more* Security Clearance Allowance – where relevant and subject to you holding the required security clearance# **Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Statement**At Ultra I&C, we are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity and inclusivity.
