Reeson Education is recruiting motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join our flexible supply pool across primary schools in Waltham Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant who wants to gain hands-on classroom and SEN experience before progressing into teacher training, educational psychology, or further study.

Schools in Walthamstow, Leyton and Chingford regularly call for Graduate Teaching Assistants who can step in to support pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant on daily supply, you will be able to choose your working days while developing your skills in different school environments.

Graduate Teaching Assistant - Role Overview

Rate: £82.14-£100 per day

Start: ASAP

Contract: Daily supply - fully flexible

Location: Waltham Forest

Ideal For: Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Sociology or similar graduates

What the Graduate Teaching Assistant Will Do

Provide 1:1 and small-group SEN support

Assist class teachers with learning activities and classroom management

Support communication, emotional regulation and engagement

Work across different year groups to broaden experience

Adapt quickly to new routines and school settings

Requirements for a Graduate Teaching Assistant

A degree (Psychology or Education highly desirable)

Passion for supporting children with SEN

Strong communication and resilience

Ability to work flexibly and confidently

A proactive, patient and nurturing approach
