Assistant Practitioner – Children's Speech & Language Therapy We are expanding our team of Band 4 assistant practitioner roles. This is a great opportunity to join a highly motivated and innovative team based in Worcestershire. We have two new roles, one based in Bromsgrove and one in Kidderminster. We are looking for positive, enthusiastic practitioners with a commitment to collaborative working to join our team. Main Duties Work with families, demonstrating practical ways to support children. Visit schools to set up targeted and specialist interventions and share resources. Deliver targeted and specialist interventions in settings and schools. Develop resources. Work within our SLTA team to develop our service. About the Employer Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust. Speech & Language Centre, Marlpool Place, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, DY11 5BB. Remuneration & Working Pattern Band 4, salary £27,485 to £30,162 a year pro rata for part time. Permanent contract. Full-time or part-time flexible working. Higher National Diploma (HND) or BTEC (level 4). GCSE Maths and English (Grade A–C) or equivalent. Significant experience working within a relevant clinical service as a senior HCA / HCSW. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbal and written. Able to travel efficiently to meet the needs of the job, travelling from setting to setting.
