The business operates across multiple sites and divisions, and have a lean, ambitious leadership team based in the Dartford / North West Kent area.Job DescriptionReporting to the Group Finance Director, the Group Financial Controller / Group Accountant will:Lead the monthly consolidation of group accounts across multiple trading entitiesOwn technical accounting, audit preparation, and compliance processesSupport M&A integration, including acquisition accounting and systems harmonisationDrive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with operational teamsHelp implement and optimise the ERP system for group-wide reportingIdentify and deliver process improvements across reporting and controlsPlay a key role in shaping the future finance structure as the group scalesThe Successful ApplicantThe successful Financial Controller / Group Accountant should have:A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Strong technical accounting and group consolidation experienceA background in multi-entity, multi-site environmentsExcellent Excel and financial systems skillsA proactive, hands-on approach and strong commercial awarenessIt would also be beneficial if you have:Experience in a Private Equity-backed businessExposure to M&A and post-acquisition integration and alignment of processes and systems.What\u2019s on OfferBase Salary: of £70,000 - £85,000 + benefits, depending on experienceHybrid working: c3 days/week in the office.High-impact role with visibility and progression in a growing groupOpportunity to shape the finance function and grow into a leadership position #J-18808-Ljbffr
