You'll take ownership of architectural workstreams, guide multidisciplinary teams, and engage with senior stakeholders to shape technology strategy and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of enterprise and solution architectures aligned to business goals and government standardsDefine and maintain architecture principles, patterns, and roadmaps across programmesTranslate strategic objectives into actionable technical designs and delivery plansProvide expert guidance across cloud platforms, software engineering, data architecture, and cybersecurityCollaborate with delivery teams to ensure alignment between architecture and implementationSupport pre-sales activities, including technical input into bids and proposalsMentor junior consultants and contribute to internal capability developmentMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops; training, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.Skills & ExperienceWe're looking for individuals with a strong technical foundation and architectural mindset.Proven experience delivering enterprise or solution architecture in complex software programmesStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including within government sectorsFamiliarity with UK Government digital standards and delivery frameworksExpertise in one or more of the following:Enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, MODAF, Zachman)Cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP)Software development and integrationData architecture and governanceCybersecurity and risk managementDevOps and CI/CD pipelinesQualifications & Certifications (Desirable)TOGAF, BCS EA, or equivalent architecture certificationCloud certifications (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert)Life at BAE Systems Digital IntelligenceWe are embracing Hybrid Working.
