Business Development Representative – Software Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire Posted: 1 day ago Deadline: November 26, 2026 Express Recruitment is delighted to partner with an industry leading Software Company recruiting a Business Development Representative to join their expanding team, based in the outskirts of Oxford. The successful candidate will hold experience in an office-based sales role and take responsibility for creating appointments with key stakeholders in businesses in an array of industries throughout the UK. There is an excellent remuneration package on offer including a basic salary of up to £40k DOE, with an uncapped commission structure offering an OTE of c£55k, alongside 30 days holidays, 23 personal development days a year, £650 a year to spend on anything which aids your work-life balance, a fully paid month-long sabbatical after 5 years’ service and flexible working options including hybrid working, working one day a week in the office. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to take their next step in a small, industry-leading technology firm, with the realistic potential of the role progressing into Business Development Manager within 12 months. Duties include: Engage with incoming leads to identify and secure high-value technical sales opportunities Build and maintain a list of potential customers to identify and qualify leads effectively Use a mix of outbound strategies, including calls, emails and social platforms, to set up sales discussions Attend industry events and exhibitions Maintain and develop a strong pipeline of interested prospects to generate qualified opportunities Continuously update CRM systems with accurate and relevant data to support future marketing campaigns and enhance prospect insights Gain an in-depth understanding of the AI technology and the measurable value it delivers for clients Experience/Skills required: Experience within a similar sales role A keen interest in developing a career within tech sales Experience of KPIs and motivated by targets to achieve commission Full UK driving licence Vacancy Summary Location: Oxford Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday Job Type: Permanent Unfortunately, we are unable to contact all candidates due to the large volume of applications we receive.
