Are you a Veterinary Surgeon seeking a fulfilling part-time (30 hours) role with no on-call duties? My client based in beautiful Barnstaple offers a supportive and flexible work environment that could be your perfect match. With a permanent contract and flexible scheduling, this role is ideal for someone who values excellent clinical care and thrives in a collaborative team setting. While a surgical background is preferred, it is not essential. Situated in picturesque North Devon, the practice is surrounded by stunning coastlines, surf beaches, and beautiful countryside, making it an ideal location for those who enjoy an active, outdoor lifestyle. The role spans our two practices, primarily focusing on cats and dogs. The head vet has a special interest in cardiology, and they've recently invested in dental x-ray equipment as part of our commitment to modernising the facilities. They are on the verge of achieving ISFM accreditation and are dedicated to creating a cat-friendly environment. The team is passionate about continuous professional development (CPD) and fear-free principles, with the vets actively involved in teaching staff. The nurses run exceptional clinics, with three of them showing a keen interest in furthering their skills. There are no on-call duties. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
