Harrods Knightsbridge, England, United Kingdom Audio Visual Technician We have an exciting opportunity for an Audio Visual Technician to join our Digital Technology Digital Signage Team at Harrods. This role is shift based, 5 days a week in Knightsbridge with on call over the weekend done on a rota basis. About The Role As the Audio Visual Technician you will be responsible for support and overall service of all Audio systems across the Harrods Ltd locations. You will assist in supporting all day-to-day operational activities while working hands on as part of the team. Working closely with other functions within Digital Technology, you will support the effective delivery of new functionality and projects. You will also: Optimise design for maximum customer experience whilst considering Value Engineered solutions to work within budgets Assist with managing and reporting of any operational issues raised on behalf of the Digital Signage & Audio team Assist with the management of all monitoring system tools and alerting mechanisms, ensuring that systems are efficiently monitored Take responsibility for ongoing maintenance and support including preventative maintenance About You The ideal candidate will have previous hands on AV experience (Signage screens, Audio Processing, Signage CMS) as well great communication skills both written and verbal as you will be speaking to internal, stakeholders and senior level staff members in the business. It is important that you have experience with Dante networks and designing Audio. You will also have the following: Ability to work under pressure Basic Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Passion for technology Confident and can articulate yourself well.
