Job Description We're seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team in Liverpool. The position requires close co‑operation with all online investment services team members, as well as interaction with all other operational areas across the entire business and stakeholder departments, to deliver a high‑quality end‑client service for the Bestinvest Direct project. Your responsibilities will include: Investigate & respond to any incoming queries via telephone and email Ensure all operational deliverables are actioned on time in accordance with service level agreements, agreed quality standards, regulatory & company requirements Adhere to all HMRC and FCA regulations including CASS & COBS rules and all company policies and procedures Understand the client onboarding process and enrichment of client accounts Process transfer requests on the custody platform and maintain accurate client data on all platforms Closure/archiving of records on XPLAN Qualifications Skills and Experience Call handling and customer service experience is advantageous Strong interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences Demonstrable interest in financial services Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner and solve problems quickly with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines, with a flexible approach to team priorities Desired Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in operations is advantageous but not essential For candidates with no relevant experience, Scottish Higher / GCSEs (or equivalent) at level C or higher in relevant subject Relevant professional qualifications e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate desirable but not essential Benefits Competitive salary Private medical insurance Life assurance Pension contribution Hybrid working model (role dependant) Generous holiday package Option to purchase additional holiday Shared parental leave We are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
