Role Overview This is an internal vacancy for current Pricecheck employees. As a Team Leader your role includes a lot of variety, supporting the different departments in the warehouse. Working closely with the wider Warehouse Management Team, you directly support both permanent and agency Warehouse Operatives, ensuring they have sufficient training and support to perform to the expected standards whilst always maintaining awareness of health and safety and safe operating procedures. Usually allocated to an area of the warehouse, you will guide the day-to-day operations of your given area, ensuring any problems are troubleshooted and escalated as necessary. Location: Beighton Department: Inbound & Outbound Key Responsibilities Oversee day to day operations in your allocated area – providing cover to others as and when needed. Ensuring work efficiencies and priorities are being met. Escalating to the relevant Supervisor where support is required. Supporting the Warehouse Management Team in providing feedback on the Warehouse Operatives performance and conduct. Onboarding and organising training new agency staff as needed, ensuring completion of the agency induction plan and their understanding of the Warehouse Operations Manual Maintaining health and safety at all times, ensuring operations are running to the required safety standards, and any accidents are documented and escalated as per standard procedure Acting as a role model; following company policies and procedures at all times Escalating any risks/ hazards or other employee/ individual concerns as necessary Completing Health & Safety Incident Investigations where necessary Holding Return to Work interviews for Warehouse Operatives following employees’ period of absence from work Trained First Aider The below list is an indication of the responsibilities in each area; however, this list is not exhaustive and additional, ad hoc tasks will be required to meet business requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
