The service is a busy and forward‑thinking provider of Adult Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy across multiple clinic sites in Stockport, receiving referrals for acute and chronic conditions from GPs, ESPs and Pain clinic. We have strong links with the acute Trust site and the Orthopaedic Assessment Service. Responsibilities Manage your own patient caseload within a supportive and experienced team. Lead exercise groups, supervise assistants and students, and contribute to service development initiatives. Participate in regular audits and provide clinical supervision and in‑service training. Ensure safety, promote self‑management, and maintain up‑to‑date CPD. Act in accordance with the Trust’s safeguarding policies, including enhanced DBS checks and annual DBS update service subscription. Promote clinical governance and participate in quality improvement projects. Person Specification Essential Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy and State Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. Evidence of postgraduate CPD related to musculoskeletal conditions. Knowledge of best practice in physical and psychological interventions in MSK Physiotherapy, standardised assessments, outcome measures and NICE guidance. Experience as a Band 5 physiotherapist and within outpatients covering all areas of MSK work. Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and communicate effectively. Experience supporting junior staff, assistants or students. Desirable Membership of Clinical Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). Clinical educators course.
