The company are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Water Hygiene Engineer based in and around the Crewe area. Duties within this role will include carrying out cleaning and disinfection on hot and cold systems as well as cooling towers. Previous experience undertaking remedial plumbing duties will also be advantageous within this role. Applications from Chester, Wrexham, Stoke-Trent and the surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & experience Experience working as a water hygiene engineer within the water industry. Knowledge and understanding of relevant health and safety legislation. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient with Microsoft office package. Key responsibilities of the role Monitor the client’s air and water systems ensuring compliance with the current Health and Safety legislation. Carry out cleaning, disinfection and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems and cooling towers. Temperature monitoring, routine sampling and analysis of water systems. Maintain and install dosing systems. Inspection and disinfection of CWST. Servicing TMVs, shower descales etc. Annual cold water tank inspections. Overall, the ideal applicant will demonstrate their commitment to their work as well as the ability to work within an already established team.
