This expanding and emerging market player and well-established within the water treatment industry is in the process of employing a Water Treatment Engineer based in and around the Crewe area and will include applications from Northwich, Stoke-on-Trent, Whitchurch and the surrounding areas. The applicant will have City & Guilds qualification and will have significant demonstrable experience working within this role and within the water treatment/water hygiene industry. Must be fully conversant with current guidelines – (ACOP L8). Must have excellent communication skills, both written. Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Must come from a good technical, chemical, plumbing and educational background. A track record in servicing Steam Boiler, Cooling Tower and Closed System Accounts and Installation/Plumbing. Must be fully conversant with current guidelines. Tasks Will Include: Carrying out chemical analysis of Steam Boilers and Cooling Towers and Closed Systems Chemical dosing and cooling tower disinfection. Serving – Water Softeners and Chlorine dioxide Units. Cleaning and disinfecting CWSTs and Calorifiers Water hygiene monitoring and sampling. Attributes: In general, the successful applicant will be versatile, flexible, and hard-working, have good work ethos and have the aptitude to carry out the work effectively and within time scale.
