Customer Service Representative - School & College Leavers Salary: From £23,278 per year Location: Standard Life House, Edinburgh, EH1 2DH Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm, 35 hours per week Key information: We are based in Edinburgh City Centre, easily accessible by train or bus and car parking is available nearby. You will be part of an extensive training programme which provides you with a mix of both product and practical skills to allow you to feel comfortable in your role. Our standard working hours are Monday‑Friday between 9am and 5pm, so no evening or weekend shifts. Salary is up to £23,278 per annum, based on skills and experience. Benefits: 23 days holiday (not including bank holidays) Eligibility for our discretionary Variable Incentive Plan – opportunity to earn extra money each quarter based on performance. What you'll be doing: Act as the face of the business – answer calls from across our many different skills. No sales involved. Resolve issues and queries, inform members on policy details in a confident, friendly, and professional manner. What we're looking for: Entry‑level positions – some customer‑facing experience is sufficient; training provided. Strong listening and communication skills; ability to explain complex matters simply and supportively. Ability to quickly understand customer needs and focus on finding effective, empathetic solutions. Excellent attention to detail and consistency with established processes.
