Overview Join to apply for the Product Manager role at HM Land Registry. HM Land Registry (HMLR) is launching a five-year transformation programme that will modernise core services, build new data and analytics capabilities and deliver user-centred digital solutions used across the country. As a Product Manager, you will help shape services of national importance within a supportive, mature product community where your skills will directly impact how citizens and professionals access vital land and property information. Salary £52,978 (£57,528 London pay band) plus 29% pension contribution and other Civil Service benefits. Flexible, hybrid working from 12 HMLR office locations. Responsibilities Take a lead role in supporting the delivery, on-going success and continuous improvement of HM Land Registry’s existing and future services. Create, own and share product roadmaps which align to wider programmes and strategies. Translate user insight and market trends into product decisions, using feedback to drive continuous improvement. Actively share your knowledge and experience of development methodology, leadership and delivery to develop others and work within the ‘product’ community of practice. Essential skills Application of Product Management skills within an Agile environment Knowledge of Lean Practices Making user driven changes to an existing product or service Challenging the as-is, influencing senior colleagues and changing practice, policy or legislation to enable delivery Ability to create and nurture good working relationships outside your own Directorate Can identify a problem, analyse data and information and find a way forward. The ability to see and communicate strategic visions and goals to a wide range of stakeholders. User-centred design Experience as a technical Product Manager role inc. APIs A recognised product qualification Developing a roadmap for a service in line with the Digital Service Standard Good understanding of risk management and impact assessment requirements. Composing business cases and knowledge of the HMLR approvals process Location Expectation is to be working from one of HMLR's offices 60% of your time across the month (typically 3 days/week). Hours are flexible and condensed hours are an option. Available office locations: Plymouth, Croydon, Birkenhead, Hull, Leicester, Coventry, Weymouth, Telford, Gloucester, Swansea, Fylde and Durham.
