Our social media channels are our digital shop window where we showcase our products and listen to customer insights. As our Social Media Assistant youll help us do that in a way that creates amazing experiences and delivers all the good feels for everyone who visits our socials.This role plays a crucial role in enhancing the Motel brand online and growing our audience across socials. It offers an amazing opportunity to work inside an exciting brand and grow your understanding of the social media world by using your creativity communication skills and passion for connecting with people.Main tasks & responsibilitiesThis role requires a pro-active creative person with a track record of demonstrating quality and attention to detail in their work. Youll be responsible for :Organisation : Schedule posts using social media management tools and maintain an organised content and asset library.Community Management : Monitor and respond to comments messages and engagement in line with Motels tone of voice and values building strong relationships with our audience.Social calendar management : Maintain the social calendar to ensure consistent posting schedule and alignment with Motel marketing initiatives.Social campaigns : Assist in the planning execution and optimisation of social media campaigns to increase brand awareness drive store traffic and generate sales for MotelSocial listening : Monitor social media platforms for updates industry trends and competitor activity. Proactively explore new tools and strategies to enhance our socials and recommend improvement opportunitiesContent creation : Assist in creating eye-catching graphics photos and videos for our social media postsReporting : Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and strategies reporting on performance against key metrics and KPIsAd-Hoc support : Provide support for other marketing initiatives and projects as neededContent creation : Develop engaging and relevant content for our social media channels including TikTok Facebook Twitter Instagram and LinkedInAbout you Education: Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications or related field (preferred)Prior experience in a social media management or digital marketing role with proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platformsStrong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective audiences / usesAttention to detail and time-prioritisation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCreative thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCommitted to promoting conscious creativity helping us build a brand that champions sustainability and supports our social and environmental impactWhat's in it for youCompetitive salary in line with industry benchmarking3% pension contributions from Motel; dependant on 5% pension contributions from yourself25 days annual leave; with additional days for long serviceBirthday day off post probationTeam socials and meetupsMonthly well-being activities to support your health and wellbeingTailored progression pathwaysA thorough health support serviceAccess to professional support & mentoringBonus Scheme for all employees paid out twice a year at management discretionMotel discountMotel is a growth mentality companyOption to work from home 2 days a week post probationAt Motel Rocks we value and believe in fostering an inclusive and diverse environment for our employees customers and partners.
