Train Yard Fitness is looking for a creative, organised, social-media-enthralled assistant to help us bring our brand stories to life across Instagram, TikTok and other platforms. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who loves content creation, social trends, and being part of a brand with a strong community feel. The Social Media Assistant will support the day-to-day running of our social platforms : helping create content, scheduling posts, filming, editing, keeping on top of social trends, and assisting with community management. Suitable applicants don’t need years of experience — just enthusiasm, creativity, and a solid understanding of the platforms we use. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Editing : Assist in filming content in-studio, e.g.classes, behind-the-scenes, coaches, events, etc. Edit short-form videos for Instagram / TikTok, e.g. Reels, TikToks, and Stories. Create simple graphics, carousels or story assets in Canva Help draft captions that match the brand tone Scheduling & Execution : Upload and schedule content across platforms Keep content folders organised and labelled Support with weekly content planning and brainstorming Community & Engagement : Keep an eye on comments, DMs and tags (no customer service — simply flag items as needed) Engage with the community : likes, replies, reposts Trend Awareness : Spot viral trends and audio we can adapt Suggest creative angles that fit the Train Yard aesthetic General Support : Assist with filming days, events, launches and retreats Provide admin support related to content, e.g. tracking posts, saving references, etc. Profile Required : Genuinely interested in social media, fitness, wellness or lifestyle content Understand Instagram & TikTok inside-out Able to edit short-form videos confidently, e.g. CapCut, InShot, Reels editor, etc. Proactive, organised, and good at keeping on top of details Comfortable filming people and being around busy classes / studios Eager to learn, grow, and have ideas heard Beneficial : Canva experience Experience managing your own social account or portfolio Photography / graphic design skills Understanding of fitness or having trained in a gym environment What We Offer A fun, energetic and supportive environment Opportunity to develop your social media and content creation skills Flexible working across 3 days per week Unlimited Access to studio classes, including reformer pilates Creative freedom and input into content direction Chance to work across both a fitness brand and a personal training brand #J-18808-Ljbffr
