OverviewSite Manager required for up and coming renewables contractor who focus on electrical and civil works across multiple projects. The project is based in Aberdeen, with future projects covering Scotland and Northern England. Initial project is the completion of a BESS. Future projects could range from Solar farms, to windfarms to substations.Site OversightSite Supervision: Oversee all on-site activities, including land preparation, foundation works, panel installation and electrical connections.Workforce Management: Manage and coordinate site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow.Scheduling and Planning: Develop and maintain the construction schedule, ensuring timely completion of each phase.Quality AssuranceInstallation Standards: Ensure all installations comply with technical drawings, manufacturer guidelines, and industry standards.Inspection and Testing: Supervise the testing of PV modules, inverters, and electrical systems to verify functionality and efficiency.Compliance: Ensure adherence to local building codes, environmental regulations, and project specifications.Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, minimizing risks to personnel and equipment.Risk Assessments: Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.Environmental Management: Ensure that site activities minimize environmental impact, such as managing soil erosion or protecting local flora and fauna.Resource and Budget ManagementMaterials Coordination: Monitor the delivery, storage and usage of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures and cables.Budget Oversight: Track expenditures and optimise resource allocation to stay within budget.Equipment Management: Supervise the proper use and maintenance of machinery and tools.Stakeholder CommunicationClient Liaison: Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and solutions to the project owner or client.Coordination with Engineers: Collaborate with electrical and civil engineers to address technical challenges.Reporting: Maintain detailed records of progress, delays, and completed milestones.Problem-SolvingOn-Site Challenges: Address unexpected issues, such as adverse weather, supply chain disruptions, or equipment malfunctions.Conflict Resolution: Manage disputes among team members or subcontractors.Commissioning and HandoverSystem Testing: Ensure the system's functionality by conducting performance testing of PV modules and inverters.Handover Documentation: Prepare detailed reports and as-built documentation for the client.Training: Provide basic training for the operations team on the system's maintenance and functionality #J-18808-Ljbffr
