We are currently building on our Placed Based Model and developing our key links with our local partners and voluntary agencies and we are looking for someone who would be keen to help us build on our progress. This role involves working with people from 18 onwards, who have needs as per the Care Act 2014, we also work with carers and informal carers. This role can include working with Children such as Young Carers, therefore an enhanced DBS will be required. Newark and Sherwood Social Work Team is built up of 3 teams, Newark North, Newark South and Sherwood. As a whole unit we work together to support each other where demand arises. In addition to supporting each other in our development, vision and wellbeing. This role will be Line Managed by the Sherwood Sub Team, but there will be expectations for the suitable candidate to undertake work in other areas in Newark and Sherwood where demand arises. There may also be opportunities where tasks may require you to undertake work wider across Nottinghamshire and outside of the County where relevant.
