Senior Night Social Care Worker Choice Care Group is inviting applications for the Senior Night Social Care Worker role. This position is based at our Witham Valley Care facility, a six‑bed residential property for young adults with complex needs. Base pay range Hours: 42 hours per week Salary: £12.83 to £13.03 per hour The role consists of shift work and weekends on a rota basis. We offer flexible staffing patterns to fit around your personal commitments. Overview Of The Role We welcome applicants new to the sector or with a social care background. We will provide training and mentoring to build your expertise. All Social Care Workers must either already hold or commit to completing a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care. Key duties Assisting those we care for with personal care needs Medication administration Assisting and taking part in daily activities, hobbies or outings Following care plan guidance alongside company policies and procedures Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with those we care for Maintaining written and electronic daily records Attending and completing training, as required Personal attributes Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator are key characteristics of a successful Night Social Care Worker. The home was extensively refurbished in 2013 to provide six en‑suite bedrooms, a breakfast kitchen, dining room, games room and lounge.
