Role SummaryThe Sous Chef will assist in the daily running of the kitchen, working alongside the Head Chef to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and staff management. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a skilled and motivated chef with a passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a flair for modern British cuisine. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and food preparationSupervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure consistent performanceMaintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety (HACCP)Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste reductionContribute to seasonal menu development and ensure consistent delivery of dishesLead service during busy periods and ensure smooth, efficient operationUphold company standards and values at all times Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will be an experienced Sous Chef or a strong Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
