Farleigh Hospice is a high performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end of life care for people with life limiting illness in the Mid Essex region. Our team at Farleigh has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community we serve and we are looking for a highly motivated Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join Farleigh Hospice as a key member of the team. The role will provide a high level of analytical support to the organisation, including working closely with budget holders to aid their understanding of financial performance and reporting. You will lead on financial process mapping across the organisation and will be responsible for all the finance and accounting aspects of Farleigh Supplies Limited (a trading subsidiary). You will manage the Finance Officer – Revenue Accounting role and will support all Finance team members. You will hold or be working towards an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent experience and have a background working in a busy finance team undertaking both financial and management accounting as well as complex data analysis. You will have good attention to detail, excellent IT skills and analytical ability. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently as well as being a supportive team member. You will need to be flexible and open and supportive of change as our services continue to grow at Farleigh.
