Job OverviewAs a Interventional Radiographer, you'll help deliver a safe, efficient, and patient-focused imaging service.Key ResponsibilitiesService Delivery & CollaborationWork closely with IR Lead and Principal Operations Radiographers to maintain a high-quality service with a strong focus on patient care.Participate in a wide range of specialised examinations to a high standard using relevant practical expertise.Undertake a senior role when working within IR and the general dept. This includes both clinical and non-clinical work associated with service delivery.Ability to participate in out of hours working and 24hr cross site emergency cover for intervention.Quality & StandardsSet and maintain professional standards in the Radiology Department and contribute to audits and service improvements with colleagues.Staff Support & DevelopmentSupervise and support staff, students, and visitors.Provide teaching and assessment in line with BCUHB policies and HCPC standards.Cross-Departmental RelationshipsBuild strong working relationships across departments and help resolve local operational issues.Key Qualifications & AttributesBrings energy, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem-solvingIs committed to continuous learning and professional developmentThrives in a collaborative team environmentIs ready to take on leadership responsibilities and influence positive changeWe welcome applications from Radiographers who are keen to grow into the role although previous experience within an Interventional Radiology setting would be advantageous.Language RequirementsThe ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.About BCUHBIf you relish a challenge, have a passion to help others or simply fancy a fresh start, then Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales has all the right ingredients.
