Key duties Service Delivery & Collaboration Work closely with the IR Lead and Principal Operations Radiographers to maintain a high‑quality service with a strong focus on patient care. Participate in a wide range of specialised examinations to a high standard using relevant practical expertise. Undertake a senior role when working within IR and the general department. This includes both clinical and non‑clinical work associated with service delivery. Participate in out‑of‑hours working and 24‑hour cross‑site emergency cover for intervention. Quality & Standards Set and maintain professional standards in the Radiology Department and contribute to audits and service improvements with colleagues. Staff Support & Development Supervise and support staff, students, and visitors. Provide teaching and assessment in line with BCUHB policies and HCPC standards. Cross‑Departmental Relationships Build strong working relationships across departments and help resolve local operational issues. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Additional qualifications and experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Thorough understanding of IR(ME)R, IRR17 Regulations, and iRefer Guidelines. Proactive, organised, and adaptable approach to leadership.
