We run specialist clinical training, and non-clinical training. We have students on placement in specialties across the department. We also have superb working relationships with our Consultants and Multidisciplinary Teams across both inpatients and outpatients. Main duties of the job The team provides a 7 day service across inpatient Oncology. You will spend your time based on the Oncology wards, so will need skills to assess and treat a broad caseload. To assess and treat patients in oncology. To support the team in the organisation and provision of an efficient, high quality and co-ordinated physiotherapy service for patients in each area. To undertake a defined clinical caseload. To ensure that patient and service standards and priorities are met. To provide clinical supervision to assigned junior physiotherapists, technical instructors, physiotherapy assistants and students. Person Specification Qualifications HCPC registration BSc Physiotherapy Member of CSP Member of Specific interest group Post graduate qualifications in related area i.e. frailty Knowledge Previous Acute NHS experience at band 5 level Achieved core skills in all core Junior rotations Evidence to support knowledge base in specialist area Previous acute NHS experience Previous Senior Experience in Specialty Area Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
