This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.Project Design ManagerFull timeSouthampton / Hybrid, United KingdomDesignDue to continued growth and project successes, we are now recruiting for a Project Design Manager to work as part of a multi-disciplined team of Engineers responsible for the production of design deliverables for predominately process related projects within the water, wastewater and biosolids sectors. Our other work sector is Energy (hydrocarbon and renewables, Power & Transmission).Reporting to the Senior Project Design Manager, duties include but are not limited to;Coordinating and managing design resources to ensure the efficient and intelligent production of design deliverables against the DORM (Design, Organisation and Responsibilities Matrix) and Project Design ProgrammeManaging the interfaces with third party designs from consultants, subcontractors and suppliersEnsuring the formal design reviews throughout the project cycle as defined within TEL procedures are implementedManaging and providing weekly/monthly reports against the DORM and Contract ProgrammeMonitoring and reporting design expenditure against the DORM and as required put in place strategies for mitigating overspendManaging relationships and communications with Clients and their representatives are established and maintainedActing as the Principal Designer in accordance with the CDM Regulations 2015Qualifications/Background;Recognised Engineering Institution Accredited MEng/BEng (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Process Engineering)Professional experience working within design and construction organisationsPrevious/current experience of working within the water / wastewater sectorsExperience of managing a large team of EngineersAbout us;Trant Engineering Ltd has a long history of engineering and construction excellence, delivering high quality EPC engineering and construction services throughout the UK and overseas.
