Responsibilities Coordinating with management to ensure the cleaning work schedule is adhered to, with tasks carried out to quality standards. Cleaning bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms, clinical rooms, sluice rooms and therapy rooms; and maintaining communal areas such as the residents’ lounge, dining room, offices, changing rooms, stairs and corridors. Storing cleaning materials correctly as required by COSHH and keeping all equipment in good working order. Carrying out safety measures and attending training in areas such as health and safety, safeguarding of vulnerable adults, infection prevention and control, manual handling, food hygiene, equality, diversity and inclusion, information governance and fire safety. What do I need to be successful? You must have full right to work in the UK without sponsorship (we are not accepting candidates on a student visa and skilled workers). No specific qualifications are required, though some experience of cleaning and working within a laundry environment is beneficial. Being reliable, consistent and hard-working with the ability to work well as part of a team. Full training from Housekeeping will be provided to ensure you have the relevant material to carry out your duties successfully. What’s in it for me?
