**Live in House Keeper and support Role in Croydon**:
We are seeking a compassionate and organized individual to join our household as a Live-in Housekeeper to provide support to an 80-year-old West African father and his 42-year-old son with learning disabilities and epilepsy. This unique role involves assisting with day-to-day tasks, housekeeping, and small household maintenance jobs to ensure a comfortable and well-maintained home environment. While this is not a traditional caregiver role, your presence and assistance will greatly enhance the quality of life for both individuals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** House Cleaning**: Perform regular cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the home.
- ** Household Maintenance**: Address minor household tasks such as changing light bulbs, doorbell batteries, and other maintenance as needed.
- ** Laundry**: Handle laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens.
- ** Grocery Shopping**: Assist with grocery shopping to ensure a well-stocked kitchen and household supplies.
- ** Meal Preparation**: Prepare simple meals and place food in the oven as needed.
- ** Internet Shopping**: Help with online shopping and managing household orders.
- ** Companionship**: Be a friendly and supportive presence in the household.
- ** Flexibility**: Be available to assist when required, even outside of regular working hours.
- ** Communication**: Maintain open and effective communication with family members and other caregivers.

**Qualifications**:

- Caring and empathetic nature.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Similar cultural background preferred.
- Flexible working schedule or retirement status to be available when needed.
