Location : Portsmouth, Hampshire Job Title : Cargo Coordinator – Distribution & Planning (40 hours per week) Are you an experienced coordinator ready to take the next step in your logistics career? Join our dynamic Distribution & Planning team in Portsmouth, where you’ll play a vital role as a Cargo Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting customer bookings, queries, and customs processes with room for career development, including forklift training and ongoing support. What we offer : Competitive salary of £615 - £673 per week (dependent on experience) Monday to Friday, 08 : 00 - 17 : 00 working hours with occasional weekend opportunities Opportunity to gain a forklift licence with our in-house trainers A supportive team environment and clear career progression Exposure to customs processes and advanced IT systems Your key responsibilities will include : Acting as the main point of contact for customers, hauliers, and internal teams Managing bookings and queries for general cargo efficiently Updating internal and external IT systems with accurate, timely data Coordinating customs procedures for the External Temporary Storage Facility (ETSF) Supporting stock control and reconciliation activities What we’re looking for : Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel Experience with Terminal Operating and Warehouse Management Systems Knowledge of container load planning and IMDG code Understanding of customs processes related to ETSF, imports, and exports Forklift licence preferred, but training can be provided Full driving licence Ready to take on this exciting role?
