Overview As Demi Chef De Partie you will be giving instructions to Commis Chefs & trainee chefs, working closely with Chef de Parties and taking directive from Sous chefs on duty. You will ensure that all food safety guidelines are carried out and that quality and production is maintained to the standard required. The Demi Chef De Partie role involves providing employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities. About You The Demi Chef De Partie should hold a level 3 Food Hygiene certificate. Has a good command of the English language. Understands the strategic positioning of the hotel and company within the competitive market. Has a high level of Performance Management/Supervisory skills, the ability to relate to, communicate with, and motivate employees to sustain high performance and quality levels. Is able to delegate and assign tasks using such techniques as needs analysis, individual skills assessment, objective setting and effective communication.
