Our client is a rapidly expanding, well-established Asbestos/H&S consultancy who, due to continued success now need to recruit an experienced and competent Fire Risk Assessor based in the Bromley area. Applicants from Orpington, Mitcham, Epsom, Dartford and surrounding areas will be considered. Extensive travel will also be required in this role. Qualifications & Experience Candidate comes from a solid consultancy and technical background within the fire industry. Experience of a wide range of properties including commercial, industrial and public sector. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package. Must hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion – ISE/IFSM/IFPO/IFE registered-or Fire trained-NVQ levels. Good working knowledge and experience of undertaking fire risk assessments. Well versed with the Health & Safety procedures. Role Undertaking Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety Risk Assessments in various industry sectors, including commercial, industrial and residential. Fire plan drawings, fire drills, fire warden, use of extinguishers, real fire training, briefings, delivering training courses, etc. Providing Fire and Safety Guidance and investigating incidents and producing fire risk assessments reports. Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety Legislation in regards to fire. Dealing with issues effectively and appropriately. Liaising with clients and staff.
